Our Commitment
PermitDeck is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
What We're Doing
- - Using semantic HTML structure throughout the site
- - Providing text alternatives for non-text content
- - Ensuring sufficient color contrast ratios
- - Making all functionality available from a keyboard
- - Using descriptive link text and button labels
- - Implementing ARIA landmarks and labels where appropriate
- - Ensuring forms have associated labels and error messages
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our site may not yet be fully accessible. Our interactive calculators rely on JavaScript and may have limited functionality for users with screen readers. We are actively working to improve this.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of PermitDeck. If you encounter accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at support@permitdeck.com. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 2 business days.
